Single Song Pack 1

Hi all! This is leonid, the organizer of Single Song Pack.


This pack is especially aimed for:

• Players who are curious to see how the same song can be stepped in different ways
• Relatively unknown stepcharters who want to get their stepping skills recognized
• Simfile reviewers who want to be as unbiased as possible

How it works:
The pack will go through four phases:

1. Submission
2. Release
3. Review
4. Reveal

Submission (Current Phase - 11 Files Received)
Submission closed! Pack will be released in the next few days.

• You are allowed to step the following song only: Kung-fu Empire by Nekomata Master.
• This song is already stepped by malice in BCMP4, but it has no 4-key chart, and I doubt too many people have played it anyway.
• Click here for the mp3 and synced .sm file
• You are not allowed to collab.
• Send only the .sm file to singlesongpack@gmail.com. Make sure to indicate your username in the subject, as it will be needed in the Reveal phase.
• You can send revisions as many times as you want before the pack is released.
• There is no judge, which means all submissions will be accepted.

Release

• Pack will be released after receiving 15 files, but this cap is subject to change based on the submission flow.
• Difficulties will be based on NPS.
• All simfiles will have the same song, gfx, and cdtitle, but each of them will be randomly numbered in the title.

Review

• You will be given about a week or two (subject to change) to review simfiles in the pack.
• Do NOT post your reviews in the thread; PM your reviews to me. This is to keep one's reviews from affecting others'.
• If one of the files is your own, pretend it isn't and just review.
• Name of the reviewers will remain secret.
• I will not review.

Reveal

• After Review phase is closed, all of the reviews and stepcharter of each file will be revealed.

Take your time. If a lot of people are sending simfiles, the cap will be increased.

UUUGGGGGGHHHHH

What a time for a skill boost (check the SM Scores thread). I keep wanting to destroy my old PRs instead of step this new file, and stepping is such a goddamn tedious process.

As if that wasn't bad enough, "Play Whole Song" ends the test play 2 measures after the last note, so it's hard to hear what you want to do next if you start at the beginning and work your way through the song from there.
