The Smartphone Era and FFRPosted on: September 14, 2014, at 04:27:14pm [ 1 comment] You know, when I started browsing FFR in 2008 or so, most of us were stuck on a computer. However, we've reached the age where smartphones are dominant in terms of usage. I've tried to browse this forum several times using a web browser, which gives the same ridiculous webpage view on a small screen phone. The advent of forum software made forum viewing a lot easier, but only forums which chose to have compatibility could be viewed with software like Tapatalk.
However, by speaking out recently, FFR is now conveniently viewable through Tapatalk and other forum software. Its a definite plus one for a lot of people because now new and old players can always get the lowdown on something new on the forum.
Remember, there are always ways to improve something, its just whether or not its heard. Discharged from the hospitalPosted on: March 14, 2013, at 01:24:04am [ 2 comments] Hey guys, I know that you don't really see me much around here but I just wanted to say that I was admitted to the hospital last Monday for an asthma attack and was discharged last tuesday. I'm doing better now than where I was.
Obviously I shouldn't exert myself physically but hey, FFR is an exception, yeah? BACK FROM THE DEADPosted on: August 14, 2011, at 01:39:51am [ 4 comments] I have been revived and I shall kill all who impose me. Oh hello there. Google Forum CachePosted on: November 23, 2009, at 05:48:15pm [ 0 comments] In case you guys still want to check out the forums for certain topics, I found a neat thing to do so.
Google up 'Flashflashrevolution' and add the particular topic title into it. An example is 'Flashflashrevolution Xoon 5 transition' or 'Flashflashrevolution Artist blanket permission'. After that, on the bottom right of the links, there should be a 'Cached' option. Click that and you'll be shown the page back at how it was on a certain date. Most of the dates are on 12 November.
If you want to check out the next page of the topic, go back and input the page number. So it should be like 'Flashflashrevolution (topic title) page xx'.
And there you have it. You can still look around the forums via Google. I hope this helps out. We gotta subbin' somethingPosted on: October 26, 2009, at 11:37:09am [ 3 comments] Anybody want a free sub? Just wondering. Its not confirmed I'll get it, but if I do, I just wanted to know who would want it, since mine expires in January.
Edit: nevermind |
