r2: ugghhh im tired but anyway i managed to do it in a few tries. first i got the 1 good run and had to take like a hundred more tries to aaa but i got it in the end. it was a struggle cuz i couldnt play until the day before the end of the round bc i was out in the woods for a week, so i got a lil nervie. itll be a struggle for me to find time throughout the tournament but i shouldnt miss a round unless shit happens and although i doubt ill win ill try my damndest

into round three by the time i figured out how to post stuff soo... all aaa's so far, one sightread aaa in the first round, i think d2 is much too easy for me, probably should be in d3 instead but oh well~ having fun so far, nobody else as all aaa's so as long as i can keep doing that my win is secured. first ever rhythm game tournament and loving the experience. i started on osu!mania about a year and few ago and ever since i've been hooked. ffr has easily become my most played rhythm game other than osu!standard. Really loving the feel of the tourney and finally having motivations to force myself into improvement. i am the best rhythm gamer at my school hands down and for this i feel accomplished. just straight up love the hell out of rhythm gaming and hope i never lose that enjoyment. gl to my competitors in case i can't sinch an aaa, this has been a wonderful experience so far.

round 4-
totally forgot i was about to leave town and about this tourney, had to play on a school issued laptop in the place im staying, with the built in keyboard and all, so my memory was totally fucked. to make matters worse, i practically instant mindblocked the song, and the jacks kept fucking me up bc i would boo and raise my blood pressure in the last 30 seconds. after like 24 tries i finally got the aaa (i basically dedicate myself to aaa's for all tournaments) but jesus i got so mad at this game. i feel very relieved now because i dont have to worry about losing the tourney rn (i really wanna win). and Black_Shield got it on their first go??? mental. congrats i almost feel bad for putting in so much effort to beat it lol

round 5- i have never been so tempted to give up on an aaa before. the leaderboard says i only played 12 times but actually it was probably more than 30. i admire my own dedication and im really glad i pushed through to get the aaa, because forcing discipline on myself in the form of a tournament is really what i need to keep improving. nobody else has even come close to aaa'ing lol so imma soft brag just a lil bit. first time i actually gained rank from a tourney loll

round 6- ugh i hate myself. try as i might i could not get my score on psychic dive to under 4rg after about a full hour of grinding. im still glad i got an okay score though. in the first half of the round i was experiencing some heavy enexplained frame drops for the first ~20 seconds of the song (which is strange cuz my pc is on the beefy side) so i put off playing the map quite a bit, then on the last night (about three hours before the deadline) i downloaded an old version of the client and grinded out a score. i did top the leaderboard, but only managed to improve my score twice, to 4rg. im really sad that my aaa streak was broken but, oh well, it had to happen eventually ¯\ (ツ)/¯ im so glad it lasted for so long, but ive simply run out of time to improve it and honestly im not sure if im capable of improving it atm. i will forever hold a grudge against this infernal map.

round 7- writing this before i even attempt it WHAT THE FUCK 51?? my best on the song, "rock it" as of rn is 930-84-2-6-7 with 465 combo it is SO JOEOVER. wish me luck i will attempt it as soon as i get home.

edit: on my first attempt i got raw 15.2 fc. honestly i dont even know if im gonna try to even improve that lol. at the moment it puts me in the lead for this song by like 85 rg so i am in the clear for sure rn

edit 2: literally immediately after writing the first edit i played it again and got it down to 6.2 rg on my second attempt. i am so glad to see the incredible improvement i made since i started this game a few months ago lol

round 8- its over. i did it. 19.2 rg on credits standard, 13 less than second best. there is still about a day and a half left, but im calling it now. best score in every single round. i am so proud of myself for this because i put in a huge amount of effort and it payed off. massive respect to my competitors, mainly Black_Shield. incredible tournament experience overall. lovely time. thanks yall so much. fuck yeah!!! can't wait for the next one (although im likely to be in d3 for that and my chances arent great), i am so glad to be part of this. final score (as of now unless i try to improve my round 8), 271,015, 685 point lead.
