I should have spent way less time on left hand strengthening. I dunno. I'm not really sure why MY wrist got fucked and my percussion buddies had no problems at all. Curse my wrist arghhhhhhhhhhh.

Yea, bro. When I auditioned into the music school and was accepted, the percussion director pulled me into his office and basically was like "You have to practice 5 hours a day or you're out." ;________; As far as strengthening my left hand, I should have spaced it out differently. *sigh* Well, I hope you find something with your degree that you like. Gotta enjoy wut ya do :(. If you got a job with fucking GameInformer holy shit that would be rockin'.

P.S. Graphic design sounds fun! I totally understand about not wanting to see the people in your highschool. Holy shit fuck I'm the same way. I DESPISED my highschool with a passion. Everyone there were racist, homophobic, obnoxious, close-minded, overly-conservative ass holes. You made the right choice.

Yea, bro. It's fucked. When I was in percussion I had to practice 5 hours a day (requirement for majors). My left hand was weaker than my right hand...and percussion is all about consistency/equality between both hands. I had way better dynamic control in my right hand than my left, so I spent a LOT of time just doing shit with my left hand. It came back and kicked my ass. It used to hurt and shake and shit, but I took physical therapy one summer and now it doesn't shake anymore. Unfortunately it hurts if I let pressure build up inside it, so I have to crack it a lot. :/

I'm very familiar with work overload, unfortunately.My sophomore year in college I had a 20 hour a week job, and was taking 21 credit hours. Dumbest thing I've ever done, hands down. Anyway, I've changed mah major twice. I was a chemistry major first, but I got super fucking bored and switched to music with a concentration in percussion performance. I was in music for a year in a half, then I changed majors again. I couldn't stand all the singing and theory that music required. That, plus all the practice I had to do permanently damaged my left wrist (if I rotate my left wrist at all, you can hear bones cracking like it's nobodies business). :( NAO, I have a dual major in elementary education / special education. Once I get my b.s. I want to get my Masters and Doctorate in Special Ed with a concentration in Autism. Wut's your major?
