" I-I'll be okay. . I hope. Ow!" Jacob raised his voice as he bit his lip from the pain.

" What the hell happened to me? Oh god, did I do that to you Jacob. Quick, get me something metal, I'll plunge it through my heart. There's no way I can stand doing that. Gah! " Rein said, tearing at her own hair. She reached for a candle stick holder, it's metal cool to the touch. " Don't do anything to stop this. . ."

Jacob shot up, and kicked it out of Rein's hands. " No! Death is not an option, you didn't even know that happened. Thanks for the warning, though. That whole tooth things growing and you uttering no was a big help. I have a feeling, I know who it was." he mumbled, tying the rest of the cloth to his hand.

" I'm so sorry Nina. . " Rein whispered, in a heep of tears. " Jacob. . promise me you'll keep Arina away from me, I don't want to hurt her." she continued, tears still rolling down her cheeks. " Where's Harvey?! I didn't kill him, did I?!" Rein asked, nearly choking on her tears. Ignoring whatever they could, Rein jumped up and punched the wall. " I knew I shouldn't have done this!" she muttered, sucking out the blood and spitting it on to the floor. She ran out side, only stopping when she felt no one near her.

' Why can this not be simple? Why must everything I do, or want, be this demanding?' Rein thought, sucking the blood from her knuckles and spitting it on to the ground. It wasn't a lot, but it was enough to attract one nose, one she hadn't seen in several years. " What do you want, Eries?" Rein mumbled harshly, her small fangs showing.

" Oh, you talk to me like you've never seen me, how cruel and unusual punishment, Rein." he remarked back, his short black hair flickering lightly in the breeze.

" Do not play games with me, what do you want?" she barked, watching him squirm where he stood.

Although Eries was taller, and more masculine then Rein, he still feared her. His body looked young, but his mind was not. Eries was a friend of Rein's, how that came to be made both of them ponder. " Oh, you spit blood, how else would I find you? You keep disappearing on me, especially when I've got important things to say. And even now you're not listening to me!" Eries yelled at Rein who had turned her head to glance behind her. His tanned skin glistened only slightly from the drops of rain that came every once in awhile, and he flailed his arms around like a mad man.

" What do you expect? Your voice tends to drone, and I get bored. You also never get to the point, you take too long to tell me something." Rein pointed out, ruffling up his hair.

He growled and fixed it, along with his leather jacket that went past his waisted pants. " Wel-well fine!" Eries finally said, and stomped off in a huff, only to return to her side and inquire," What are you doing here?"

" Nothing." Came her small reply as she settled into the grass underneath her, a tiny tear forming in the corner of her eyes.

" Nothing-" he boomed," that is all you have to say to me, is nothing? Why don't you just tell me to run and jump off a cliff?!" Eries yelled, being hysterical. He again threw his arms into the air, gawking at Rein who didn't seem to be paying attention. " Last I smelt, you were looking for a baby. The small child should be one of us, because it will grow up, and then stop. Ooh, yes, you're looking for the baby. I smell one. . yes-yes I do." Eries grinned, his fangs beginning to grow to indicate that he smelt something that could be food.

Rein jumped, and punched Eries square in the jaw. " You go after that child and you'll wish you've never become a vampire, Eries. I swear to that dead, old, king of the vampires. Harm her, and you'll deal with Lucifer himself." Rein said, watching Eries cower into the wall near by. " Got it?!" she boomed towards him, he nodded in a small response and she watched his fangs shorten. " I found her a couple of years ago, you know." Rein finally mumbled, sitting back down in her spot.

This always seemed to happen while Eries was around, he'd jump to conclusions and try to wisk Rein off of her feet. Well, she doomed him one day, and that was hard enough to where he is small shivers never again left him.

" You remember your old man, don't you Rein?" Eries had said, his voice different then it was now. " I mean, it's not like you could forget how he died, but what did he do before, besides black smith?"

Rein looked at Eries, her face bright and vivid has she began her fathers story, like she had done so many a time before. " Father was a black smith, but an herblist by heart. Rein explained, and continued on with the story.

It wasn't until much later in that month, that Eries broke her heart. " You said you wouldn't leave, Rein!" Eries yelled after her, his eyes watering with frustration and sadness.

" I told you I needed to find that baby, it will change everything!" Rein yelled back at him, her hand on the door, and tears in her eyes.

" Fine, then join your father, I'll laugh when I see your dead body!" Eries screamed, he seemed more than angry. Although, his attempts to keep her there were now futile. He had brought upon disrespect to her father, and Rein did not like that.

She ran at him, he expecting a hug of tears. But no, he got a hug of her knee going to his chest. " My father-" Rein yelled, her voice doubled," was a man of honour, you- you have no honour. You shall never have honour, and you shall never see me again!" and that was the last either of them saw of each other. Although, both of them --at times-- could feel each other staring from a distant. Protecting one another.
