The new engine feels wrong.
Players shouldn't have to adjust their settings to get the max performance out of a song every time they play a new one.

Aww, but if you make the switch to R^3 I promise you'll skill boost. I did and my friend that I convinced also did (and thanked me for it). I thought Velo was awesome too but once I got used to R^3 (and its larger play screen) I loved it even more. :3
I do miss some aspects of the Velocity engine however but I'm sure R^3 will improve.

I tried to get used to R^3. I don't know if i can adjust the settings so, it fits my comfortable playing style. :/ For now, i'll stick to the smaller playing screen, with less arrows at a time to worry about. Maybe when my skill improves drastically, i'll switch to R^3. I also use the Legacy engine for songs in the Legacy category.

Well what do you know! My skill improved a bit, adjusted the settings right, and now I LOVE R^3!! I now use IT for Legacy songs too! 'Nuff said, R^3 is the BEST!!

I kind of go back and forth with it. It's a lot laggier imo.
