OT16 Blog (D7)

Another year, another tourney! I am still stuck in military, so let's see how long can I survive with limited time to play :D Super excited to play in D7 for the first time, hopefully I won't be absolutely demolished..

This blog will be updated each round with my PB and thoughts about the file, same as always!

ROUND 1
SONG: The End of Dreams (Cut Ver.)
SCORE: AAA

What a good file to start this journey! I wasn't expecting a file over 3 minutes for round one, but it happened :D I got the AAA in 4 tries, some of the bursts were tricky but I managed to pull this off wihtout much hassle. I know that this was just the beginning, and I'm looking forward to seeing what wonderful (and scary) things are coming our way in D7!

ROUND 2
SONG: Angel's Salad
SCORE: 1-0-1-2 | 3.8 RG

Greetings from military! Had no break this week, so had to bring my laptop with me to play this round :D Anyway, this one was a leap. Intro was mindblockable, many choke points and my consistency overall was pretty bad. But hey, we are still alive! The cutoff is scaringly tight though, fingers crossed that it doesn't get any tighter next round!

ROUND 3
SONG:A Battle I Absolutely Can't Lose ~ Kill the Nyanko
SCORE: 7-0-1-2 | 9.8 RG

A battle I absolutely can't lose? Well, this round didn't live up to its name for me, because I lost the battle! I had too little time to play during the weekend, and the SDG was a very last-minute score. Not a bad file, lots of tricky jack patterns, and a fun song! It's a shame I dropped out this early, but D7 has so many talented players, and that shows in the cutoffs :D Anyway, my journey is over now, gonna root Fisu, my fellow Finnish keysmasher for the win!

FINAL PLACEMENT: 27th

   Use a couple of artillery rounds to blast your way though the tourney.
