Your playstyle is entirely to your preference so if you find it comfortable and you like the playstyle then pay it no mind.
Just because the standard for spread playstyle happens to be index and middle on both hands doesn't mean it has to be.

It's different, but that doesn't make it weird, and there's nothing wrong with playing that way lol. The only reason why I can't play that way right now is because I haven't developed the same muscles and habits as you.
